A Legacy Driven by People

For 70 years, Robertson Williams Transport has been more than just a fuel hauler. Since our earliest days in 1955, we have proudly served as a trusted partner in delivering refined petroleum products across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois. In 2021, another chapter began when the Kolkmeyer family and COO Chris Van Meerhaeghe acquired the business, embracing and expanding upon a legacy of safety and service.

What binds us together is not just fuel, but people. From our drivers and dispatchers to our operations and safety teams, every member of RWT shares a passion for delivering excellence, building relationships, and pursuing a career that truly matters.

Our People: The Heart of RWT

Leadership that Leads with Heart
Our leadership team is built on experience, integrity, and a commitment to people. From those who began working in dispatch to leaders who grew up around the transportation industry, each one brings unique experiences and a dedication to creating long term relationships with both employees and customers.

Operational Excellence: The People Behind the Work
Safety directors, fleet managers, our drivers, dispatchers, and administrative staff make up the backbone of RWT. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but it is their care and diligence that keeps our operations running smoothly and our drivers supported every mile of the way.

Careers That Feel Like Family

At RWT, a career is not just about pay and benefits. It is about being part of something bigger. Our team members stay with us a long time because they feel valued, supported, and respected. Many have been with us for decades, a testament to the culture of family and belonging we have worked hard to build.

Working at RWT means being part of a company where:

  • Safety and growth are a priority
  • Team members are known by name and by family
  • Every delivery represents trust, reliability, and relationships

Safety: Our Core Value

When the Kolkmeyer family and Chris Van Meerhaeghe assumed ownership, they did more than continue the name. They redefined safety in fuel delivery. That commitment begins with hiring the right people, ensuring every piece of equipment is thoroughly inspected, and providing extensive training for every driver.

From specialized fuel testing to precise equipment checks, safety is not just a requirement at RWT. It is a culture.

Building Relationships That Last

Success at RWT is not measured only by loads delivered. It is measured in the trust we build with our customers and the loyalty we earn from our employees. Many of our customers have worked with RWT for generations, because they know that our commitment goes beyond fuel. It is about care, consistency, and connection.

Gratitude for the Journey Ahead

To our drivers, dispatchers, safety experts, operations teams, leadership, and our extended family of customers, thank you. You have made RWT more than a company. You have made it a home.

Every fuel delivery, every safety check, and every customer interaction reflects the dedication of our people. As we look back on 70 years of service and look ahead to the future, one thing is certain. At RWT, our greatest strength has always been and will always be our people.
